The Wild
Released on March 24, 2017, The Wild is the seventh solo studio album by American rapper and Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon. It is notable for being his first solo project that does not feature any guest appearances from fellow Wu-Tang members, focusing instead on his individual legacy and wordplay.
The album features a diverse range of guest artists, including Lil Wayne on "My Corner," CeeLo Green on the Marvin Gaye tribute "Marvin," and G-Eazy on "Purple Brick Road".
Production was handled by a variety of producers such as Dame Grease, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and Frank G., aiming for a sound that returned to gritty boom-bap while maintaining modern quality.
