Jeff Beck Group
The 1972 album titled Jeff Beck Group is the fourth and final studio album by the band, often referred to as the "Orange Album" due to its cover art. It was released in the US in May 1972 on the Epic Records label.
This album features the second iteration of the Jeff Beck Group, with a lineup that included Jeff Beck on guitar, Bobby Tench on vocals, Clive Chaman on bass, Max Middleton on keyboards, and Cozy Powell on drums. The album was produced by Steve Cropper and continued the jazz, soul, and R&B direction the group had explored on their previous album, Rough and Ready. It reached a peak position of number 19 on the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified Gold by the RIAA.
