Music Has the Right to Children is the debut studio album by Scottish electronic music duo Boards of Canada (brothers Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin), released on April 20, 1998, through Warp Records and Skam Records. Widely regarded as a landmark in electronic music, the album is celebrated for its blend of nostalgic, hazy analogue textures, hip-hop-influenced beats, and samples from 1970s educational films.

Produced at the duo's own Hexagon Sun studio in Scotland, the album uses vintage synthesizers, degraded sound, and found sounds to create a "pastoral and urban" feel.
