Copper Blue is the critically acclaimed debut studio album by the American alternative rock band Sugar, released on September 4, 1992. It was voted the 1992 "Album of the Year" by the NME.

The album marked Bob Mould's return to a band format after his influential work with the midwest punk band Hüsker Dü and two solo albums. Copper Blue is noted for blending power pop, punk, and shoegaze influences, combining thick, powerful guitar sounds with catchy melodies. The album features a strong rhythm section with David Barbe on bass and Malcolm Travis on drums.
