1x Vinyl LP Album Reissue Stereo

Release date: Jan 1, 1966, US

Oh Yeah is one of the most eccentric and high-energy albums in the discography of legendary jazz musician Charles Mingus, released in April 1962 by Atlantic Records.

The album is famous for several departures from Mingus's typical style:

Mingus completely abandons his primary instrument, the double bass, to play piano throughout the record.

He provides rare vocal contributions, including bluesy singing and rhythmic shouting, most notably on "Oh Lord, Don't Let Them Drop That Atomic Bomb on Me".
