Scorpio Rising is the third studio album by British electronic duo Death in Vegas, released on August 26th, 2002 (UK). Named after the 1963 avant-garde film by Kenneth Anger, the album is celebrated for its blend of electronic, neo-psychedelia, and alternative rock.

The Title Track: "Scorpio Rising"

The title track, featuring Liam Gallagher, is one of the band's most recognizable songs. It heavily borrows the guitar riff from Status Quo’s "Pictures of Matchstick Men," leading to a writing credit for Francis Rossi. Gallagher's performance on this track is often cited as one of his best vocal efforts outside of Oasis.
