Hootie & The Blowfish

Cracked Rear View is the massive debut studio album by Hootie & the Blowfish, released on July 5, 1994, through Atlantic Records. It remains one of the best-selling albums of all time, reaching #1 on the Billboard 200 five separate times in 1995 and eventually selling over 21 million units in the U.S. alone.

The album's "rootsy" folk-rock sound was anchored by the distinctive baritone of lead singer Darius Rucker. It produced four major Top 20 hits:

"Hold My Hand": The band's breakthrough debut single (U.S. No. 10).
