Avril Lavigne
Let Go
Let Go is the debut studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne, released on June 4, 2002, through Arista Records. At only 17 years old, Lavigne became a global sensation, with the album eventually selling over 16 million copies worldwide.
The album is credited with bringing pop-punk and alternative rock into the mainstream, especially for female artists.
It is the best-selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist and was certified 7× Platinum in the U.S. and Diamond in Canada.
It produced several iconic hits that defined early 2000s pop culture:
"Complicated": Her breakout lead single.
"Sk8er Boi": A high-energy pop-punk anthem.
"I'm with You": A vulnerable power ballad.
"Losing Grip": A harder-rocking track that Lavigne personally preferred.
