Audioslave released three studio albums during their time together: Audioslave, Out of Exile, and Revelations. The rock supergroup was active from 2001 to 2007, and featured Soundgarden's Chris Cornell and Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk.
The band's debut album is known for combining 1970s hard rock with 1990s alternative rock. It was produced by Rick Rubin and became the band's most commercially successful record.
