Blood is the third and final studio album by This Mortal Coil, released on April 22, 1991, through the 4AD label. Conceived by 4AD founder Ivo Watts-Russell, the project functioned as a musical collective rather than a traditional band, featuring a rotating cast of musicians and vocalists.

A blend of dream pop, gothic rock, and ethereal wave.

Vocalists included Kim Deal (The Breeders/Pixies), Tanya Donelly (Throwing Muses/Belly), Heidi Berry, and Caroline Crawley (Shelleyan Orphan).
