Annie Lennox

Diva is the debut solo album by Scottish singer-songwriter Annie Lennox, released in 1992. After leaving the Eurythmics, Lennox wrote most of the album's tracks herself, creating a sophisticated pop-soul sound that explored themes of love, heartbreak, and identity.

The title was used with a degree of irony, with Lennox explaining that the persona of the performer is separate from her true self. The project was both a critical and commercial success and helped establish Lennox as a major solo artist.
