House Of Pain
Truth Crushed To Earth Shall Rise Again
The phrase "Truth Crushed To Earth Shall Rise Again" is the title of the third and final studio album by the American hip-hop group House of Pain, released in 1996. The album's title is a direct quote from the 19th-century poem "The Battle-Field" by William Cullen Bryant.
The group consisted of Everlast, Danny Boy, and DJ Lethal. The album was produced by DJ Lethal and Everlast, and included guest appearances from Guru and Sadat X.
The album's release was accompanied by the news that the group had broken up. After the split, Everlast went on to have a successful solo career, and DJ Lethal joined the band Limp Bizkit.
