Pearl Jam
Yield
Yield is the fifth studio album by American rock band Pearl Jam, released on February 3, 1998, through Epic Records. It is widely regarded as a "return to form," moving away from the experimental nature of their previous album, No Code, and back toward a more straightforward, collaborative rock sound.
Unlike previous albums where Eddie Vedder led most of the songwriting, Yield featured significant contributions from all band members, including Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, and Jack Irons.
This was the final studio album to feature drummer Jack Irons, who left during the promotional tour and was replaced by Soundgarden's Matt Cameron.
