Otis Redding

Otis Blue/Otis Redding Sings Soul is the third studio album by American soul singer Otis Redding, widely regarded as his breakthrough album and one of the greatest soul records of all time. It was released on September 15, 1965.

The album is considered Redding's first fully realized LP and the definitive soul album of its era. It was a crossover success, reaching number 75 on the US Billboard Top 200 and number 6 on the UK Albums Chart. Critics consistently rank it highly on "greatest albums of all time" lists, including those by Rolling Stone and Time magazine.
