Goats Head Soup is the 11th British and 13th American studio album by The Rolling Stones, released on August 31, 1973. It was recorded primarily in Jamaica at Dynamic Sound Studios and marked the end of the band's "golden run" with producer Jimmy Miller.
Top Single: The album features the worldwide #1 hit ballad "Angie".
It reached number one in both the UK and US charts upon release.
The song "Star Star" (originally titled "Starfucker") faced censorship and was banned by the BBC for its explicit lyrics.
Production: It was the first Stones album since 1967 to contain no cover songs.
