Soundgarden
Louder Than Love
Louder Than Love is the second studio album by the American rock band Soundgarden, released on September 5, 1989. It was the band's first record on a major label, A&M Records, and the last to feature original bassist Hiro Yamamoto.
The album served as a bridge from the band's early, more experimental psychedelic sound to their signature heavy metal-influenced grunge style that would be polished on later albums. It was also the first grunge record to ever enter the Billboard 200, reaching number 108.
