On the Floor of Heaven is the title track and the highly regarded debut album by the Canadian country-rock band The Blue Shadows.
The album was released in Canada in 1993 by Bumstead Records and distributed by Sony/Columbia. It received critical acclaim, was certified gold in Canada, and earned the band a Juno Award nomination for Best Country Group or Duo in 1994.
The music is known for its blend of classic country, blues, and pop sensibilities, featuring tight harmony vocals compared to The Everly Brothers, and a sound reminiscent of The Byrds' Sweetheart of the Rodeo.
