Released on May 15, 2009, Relapse is the sixth studio album by American rapper Eminem. It marked his return to the music industry after a five-year hiatus following Encore (2004), a period during which he battled writer's block and a severe addiction to prescription medication.

The album features heavy production from Dr. Dre, who produced every track except for the self-produced "Beautiful".
