Nickelback
The State
The State is the second studio album by Canadian rock band Nickelback, originally released independently on September 1, 1998. It served as their breakthrough, leading to their first major record deal with EMI and Roadrunner Records in 1999.
Following its 5,000-copy independent run, the album was reissued in 1999 (EMI Canada) and 2000 (Roadrunner) with updated artwork.
