Sting

The Dream Of The Blue Turtles

The Dream of the Blue Turtles is the debut solo album by English musician Sting, released in 1985. Marking a significant creative departure from The Police, the album showcased Sting's interest in jazz, pop, and rock, and became a massive commercial success.

Seeking to stretch his musical abilities beyond The Police's signature sound, Sting assembled a band of top jazz musicians for the project.

This included:
Branford Marsalis: Saxophone
Kenny Kirkland: Keyboards
Darryl Jones: Bass
