The Cool-Aid Benefit Album Vol. 1 (Sealed copy)
The Cool-Aid Benefit Album Vol. 1 is a rare, highly sought-after 1970 Canadian rock music compilation album featuring various Vancouver-based bands of the era. It was created as a fundraiser for the "Cool Aid House," a shelter for homeless youth in Vancouver.
Originally released in 1970 on the Arthfor Special Products label, "Volume 1" was intended as part of a two-volume set, but only the first volume was released at the time due to contractual issues. It has since become a collector's item. A later re-issue on CD/DVD by Regenerator Records included the previously unreleased "Volume 2" tracks and bonus archival video footage.
