Blink-182
Take Off Your Pants And Jacket
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Blink-182, released on June 12, 2001. It was the band's first album to reach number one on the US Billboard 200 chart and was a major commercial success, selling more than 14 million copies worldwide.
The album was produced by Jerry Finn, who had also produced the band's previous hit album, Enema of the State.
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket refined the band's signature pop-punk sound with a heavier, more polished tone. This was a conscious effort by the band to appear more authentic and evolve artistically, despite pressure from their label to stick with the sound of their previous success.
