A Flock of Seagulls have released several albums, with their self-titled 1982 debut album being their most commercially successful, featuring the hit song "I Ran (So Far Away)". Other studio albums include Listen, The Story of a Young Heart, and the recent Some Dreams.

This debut album was a commercial and critical success, reaching the top 10 in the US and New Zealand, and number 1 in Australia. It includes the major hits "I Ran (So Far Away)" and "Space Age Love Song". The instrumental track "D.N.A." won a Grammy Award in 1983.
