Waiting for a Miracle is the debut studio album by the English post-punk band The Comsat Angels, released on September 5, 1980, through Polydor Records.
Produced by Peter Wilson, the record is widely considered a landmark of the early 1980s post-punk and new wave eras. It features a sparse, atmospheric sound characterized by moody basslines and sharp guitar work, often compared to the work of contemporaries like Joy Division and Echo & the Bunnymen.
