John Lennon & Yoko Ono
Double Fantasy
Double Fantasy is the seventh and final studio album released by John Lennon during his lifetime, a collaborative work with Yoko Ono released on November 17, 1980. The album represented Lennon's musical comeback after a five-year hiatus from the music industry to focus on raising his son, Sean.
The album is structured as a musical dialogue between Lennon and Ono, with their songs alternating throughout the tracklist. The songs primarily explore three themes: the couple's love for one another, their love for Sean, and the joys of domestic life.
