Alice In Chains
Facelift
Facelift is the debut studio album by the American rock band Alice in Chains, released on August 21, 1990. The album is widely regarded as one of the first mainstream grunge records, arriving before Nirvana's Nevermind and Pearl Jam's Ten.
The music features a heavy, sludgy sound with crunchy guitar riffs by Jerry Cantrell, complementing the unmistakable vocal harmonies of Cantrell and lead singer Layne Staley.
