Elvis Presley
A Legendary Performer Volume 3
A Legendary Performer Volume 3 is a 1978 compilation album by Elvis Presley that features a mixture of previously released songs, unissued alternate takes, a live performance, and an interview. The album was the first in the series released after Presley's death in 1977.
Label: RCA Records
Originally released on vinyl LP, including limited edition picture disc and gold vinyl versions. It often came in a die-cut sleeve with a 16-page color booklet containing photos and information.
The album is notable for including several tracks that had not been issued on an official RCA album release at the time, such as "Danny" (which was intended for the film King Creole) and an unreleased live version of "Let It Be Me" from 1970. It also includes "Excerpts From an Interview with Elvis and the Colonel".
