Guns N' Roses
Use Your Illusion I
Released on September 17, 1991, Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion I is the third studio album by the American hard rock band, launched simultaneously with its counterpart, Use Your Illusion II. While both albums were certified 7x Platinum in the US, Volume I is often noted for staying closer to the band's bluesy hard-rock roots compared to the more grandiose Volume II.
The album marked a stylistic turning point, incorporating elements of blues, classical music, and punk into their signature hard rock sound.
It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, right behind Use Your Illusion II.
Features a yellow and orange color scheme based on a detail from Raphael's painting, The School of Athens.
Includes the nine-minute epic "November Rain," a cover of Paul McCartney’s "Live and Let Die," and the 10-minute closer "Coma"
