Porno For Pyros

The self-titled album Porno for Pyros is the debut studio album from the American alternative rock band Porno for Pyros, released on April 27, 1993. The band was formed by Jane's Addiction members Perry Farrell and Stephen Perkins, and the album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Porno for Pyros was formed in 1992 following the first breakup of Jane's Addiction. Farrell (vocals) and Perkins (drums) were joined by guitarist Peter DiStefano and bassist Martyn LeNoble.

he band name is a direct reference to the 1992 Los Angeles riots, which served as a major lyrical theme throughout the album.
